Announcement from Chris Fox, Sr. Warden, St. James' Episcopal Church, Clinton NY 17 May 2020
"Wendy and I had our weekly Diocesan meeting this past Thursday...
The Bishop joined us.
We now have a plan that is called a "Re-gathering."
It is a plan for what happens when we are able to get back together in-person.
As I said last week, the Diocese is first and foremost concerned about the health and safety of all of us.
so the plan, the "Plan for Regathering" has many, many requirements.
that we (and all the other parishes) have to meet before we can have in-person worship.
And then when we do resume in-person worship, there are many guidelines that we have to follow...
and one of these includes having a maximum of 15 people at any one time, that's 15, "one five"...
So the vestry will be meeting this Wednesday and we will be discussing this,...
The (Diocesan document) "Plan for regathering" is on our website. I hope everyone will take a look at it.
It's got many, many more details.
But in the mean time will are going to continue with our Zoom worship services,
on Saturday and Sunday. Thanks"
